Privacy Policy — Slim Dashy

Data Collection

Slim Dashy does not collect, transmit, or share any user data.

Local Storage

The extension stores a single integer value (your lifetime em dash detection count) using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is not accessible to any website or third party
  • Is scoped entirely to the extension
  • Can be cleared by removing the extension

Permissions

  • storage — Used solely to persist the em dash catch counter across browser sessions.

Network Activity

Slim Dashy makes zero network requests. It has no backend, no analytics, and no telemetry.
