Nikki is a personal memories app. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and how you can delete it.
Everything you create in Nikki (memories, dates, linked songs, settings) is stored locally on your device. If you never create an account, your content stays on your device only.
If you create an account and enable sync, your account email and the content you create are stored on our backend, provided by Supabase. This is what makes your memories available across your devices. Your content is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than providing the sync feature.
We use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as which features are used and how often. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it. Analytics data does not include the content of your memories.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by the app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and purchase receipt information so the app can unlock what you paid for. We never see or store your payment details.

- We do not show ads or share data with advertisers.
- We do not read the content of your memories for any purpose other than storing and syncing it.
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. Signing out removes your data from the device. Deleting your account permanently deletes your synced content and account data from our backend. You can also contact us at the address below to request deletion.
Nikki is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new effective date.
