Put python-pylint.el somewhere in your load-path, and add the two lines from the Commentary to your .emacs file. When you have a Python file open, type M-x python-pylint RET. Output will display in a pop-up window.
This has nothing to do with yasnippet.

This is to make it compatible with package.el.
