The phone I'm trying to port to is Nokia 5.0, it has MSM8937 Snapdragon 430.

I was advised to try flashing a firmware with a very similar SOC. So I found these two similar devices:

  1. Xiaomi Redmi 3S/3X (land) has Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430.
  2. Nokia 6.1 (PL2) has Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 630.

As of 26.03.2024 there is a repo https://github.com/msm89x7-mainline which has irc and matrix rooms where I offered my help and got this response:

idk, i think better to wait until we have usable base with display working
