This Privacy Policy describes how Alışveriş Hafızası / DealGuard (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile shopping utility and price tracking application Alışveriş Hafızası (the “App”), available on Android.

- Alışveriş Hafızası is an offline-first utility application. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate our own database servers to collect or store your personal price tracking lists or coupons.
- All price history, wishlists, repeat reminders, and coupon details are stored locally on your device.
- The App may request access to your device's Camera or Photo Library solely for scanning bills/barcodes or attaching product images. All image processing (OCR) is done entirely on-device; your photos are never uploaded to any remote server.
- The App may display optional ads or process basic crash/performance reports through third-party services.
To provide price tracking and shopping utility functions, the App saves data on your device using local storage (Capacitor Preferences / SQLite). This includes:
- Price Tracking Wishlist: Product names, target prices, recorded price entries, category choices, and store names.
- Repeat Purchase Reminders: Last purchase dates, consumption intervals, and predicted expiry counters.
- Coupons: Store names, discount codes, spent limits, and expiration dates.
- App Settings: Language preferences, active theme (dark/light), and currency selections.
- Product Images: Images you capture or select to represent products in your list.
This data stays strictly on your device unless you delete the App, clear App storage, or use a device backup feature (like Google Cloud Backup) that backs up app data.
- Camera / Media Library Access: Used for scanning product receipts, barcodes, or selecting images for your tracked products.
- On-Device OCR: Receipt text analysis is performed locally on your device using Tesseract.js. No image or scanned data is ever sent to our servers or any remote API.
- Vibration/Haptics: Used to trigger subtle haptic click feedback for touch actions and button presses.
The App may utilize third-party services for basic ads, crash diagnostics, or performance metrics:
- Google AdMob: Used to display optional ads. AdMob and its partners may automatically collect advertising IDs (AAID/IDFA), device identifiers, IP addresses (for approximate location), and ad interaction logs. See: Google Privacy Policy.
- Limit Ad Tracking: You can opt-out of personalized ads in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
We do not collect, monetize, or sell your personal tracking information or list data. The locally stored data is used solely to calculate price trends, trigger alerts, and run the core features of the App.
We do not share your private shopping lists, coupons, or camera images with third parties because we do not transmit them off your device.
We may disclose data only if required:
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
- To protect the safety, security, and rights of our users or the public.
- Local Save Files: All app data is retained on your device until you uninstall the App, clear its data through Android settings, or reset your device.
- Device Backups: Android's automatic system backup might copy local database files to your personal Google Drive account if you have device backup enabled.
The App is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not operate servers or receive database logs, no personal data from minors is transferred to us.
Since all data is offline-first and stays on your device, the most direct way to access, modify, or delete your data is:
- Managing your lists directly inside the App.
- Clearing the App cache/data under Android App Settings.
- Uninstalling the App from your device.
