The information below was written in Oct 2017. In August 2019 AWS launched official support for multiple target groups per AWS ECS service. Please use that feature instead!

Unfortunately as of writing this (Oct 18, 2017) there is no built in integration for multiple target groups per AWS ECS service. Here are a few things you can try:

If your application just serves port 80 (HTTP) & port 443 (HTTPS) then you should consider using the application load balancer and terminating SSL at the load balancer. This will allow your application to function using just port 80.

-#, --progress-bar Make curl display a simple progress bar instead of the more informational standard meter.

-b, --cookie <name=data> Supply cookie with request. If no =, then specifies the cookie file to use (see -c).

-c, --cookie-jar <file name> File to save response cookies to.

set up ansible to work on localhost

i've found this useful for debugging ansible modules and syntax without having to use VMs or test in dev environments.

Zsh Tab Completion for Golang

This is pretty specific to my setup but the idea can be adapted to work with pretty much anything.

Go has a flag package which makes parsing command line arguments really easy.
