ffmpeg youtube live event rtmp stream from raspberry pi with raspi camera (raspivid)
  1. compile ffmpeg for arm https://github.com/fiorix/ffmpeg-arm
  2. create youtube 'live event'. get rtmp url + session id
  3. run this:
raspivid -o - -t 0 -vf -hf -fps 30 -b 6000000 | ffmpeg -re -ar 44100 -ac 2 -acodec pcm_s16le -f s16le -ac 2 -i /dev/zero -f h264 -i - -vcodec copy -acodec aac -ab 128k -g 50 -strict experimental -f flv rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/<SESSION>

you can tweak -b and -fps to your liking. the settings above work well for 1080p. by not specifying width or height we get the full 1920x1080 resolution from the raspi camera

Re-re-re-rediscovery...
(On a math problem, the solutions of which have been independently discovered in
essentially every field that encountered it, because nobody seems to come up
with a name that others think to search for. This is copy & pasted from an old
mail.)
It's actually easy to find papers on this because this problem has been chewed on by dozens
of researchers over decades, all of them unaware of each other's work (...great).
Here's some pointers:

2015-01-29 Unofficial Relay FAQ

Compilation of questions and answers about Relay from React.js Conf.

Disclaimer: I work on Relay at Facebook. Relay is a complex system on which we're iterating aggressively. I'll do my best here to provide accurate, useful answers, but the details are subject to change. I may also be wrong. Feedback and additional questions are welcome.

What is Relay?

Relay is a new framework from Facebook that provides data-fetching functionality for React applications. It was announced at React.js Conf (January 2015).

WebGL GLSL SAO (Scalable Ambient Obscurance) fragment shader. SAO is a more efficient method for computing SSAO (Screen-Space Ambient Occlusion). Converts the g-buffer to an occlusion buffer which estimates local ambient occlusion at each fragment in screen-space. For details on the technique itself, see: McGuire et al [12] http://graphics.cs.wi…
