Kali Linux Bootable USB with Persistence and Wireless on OSX

Download the appropriate Kali Linux .iso

I used a 64 bit .iso image, downloaded via HTTP. I downloaded the amd64 weekly version, as the pool linux headers (needed below for installation of wireless drivers) were ahead of the stable release kernel.

Download the SHA256SUMS and SHA256SUMS.gpg files from the same location.

Signing your Git Commits on MacOS

Methods of Signing Git Commits on MacOS

Last updated March 13, 2024

This Gist explains how to sign commits using gpg in a step-by-step fashion. Previously, krypt.co was heavily mentioned, but I've only recently learned they were acquired by Akamai and no longer update their previous free products. Those mentions have been removed.

Additionally, 1Password now supports signing Git commits with SSH keys and makes it pretty easy-plus you can easily configure Git Tower to use it for both signing and ssh.

For using a GUI-based GIT tool such as Tower or Github Desktop, follow the steps here for signing your commits with GPG.

Using Swift Package Manager with iOS

Step 1:

File > New > Project...

Step 2:

Create a Package.swift file in your root project directory, add dependencies, then run swift package fetch on the command line in the same directory. We’re not going to run swift build because it will just complain.

GitHub Wiki How-To

How do I clone a GitHub wiki?

Any GitHub wiki can be cloned by appending wiki.git to the repo url, so the clone url for the repo https://myorg/myrepo/ is: [email protected]:myorg/myrepo.wiki.git (for ssh) or https://github.com/my/myrepo.wiki.git (for https).

You make edits, and commit and push your changes, like any normal repo. This wiki repo is distinct from any clone of the project repo (the repo without wiki.get appended).

How do I add images to a wiki page?
