@furumc The stream2 one looks like to be an old URL.
For the other (new) ones, where you get a 404 error: Just try them more often. They are VERY unstable. I use them on a daily basis and it takes ages until something gets played and very often they fail.
Don't know what they do there, looks like they have a data center with a very thin line, i don't know. 🤷‍♂️

The stream2 link does work here in a browser. It seems you need to have a long network time out setting,
Unfortunately I can't configure this in Winamp, the browser still works and also MusicPi has started working ....
So they still are messing with the settings over there ...

Are you guys also ripping frisky or just listening? Maybe I've found a solution, but it's tricky to save stream...

Did you manage to get the stream working with Winamp?
Browsers, VLC, even Media Player connect, but Winamp gives me "error syncing to stream". Any Idea what is causing it?

I just updated Winamp to v5.8 and it worked! :D

Okey I finally took the blue pill and left good old Winamp 5.666. Now on 5.9.1. build 10029 and indeed it works.
Guess after all Frisky struggles got sorted out there, we remained with some clumsy https handling of the old WA.

Only quirk is that stream does not start the first time and I have to re-click Play or the playlist entry ...

Sometimes there's a hick-up, but for me those do work right now (using AIMP).

The other / older ones also work, but sometimes... and sometimes not. It also depends if you stream from a browser or not.

I guess it has something to do with the User-Agent, because the browser says Authorization needed where AIMP does play.

Yeah, today I am listening for hours, and sometimes the stream stops / is killed.

When I open the exact same stream in the browser, it can take minutes to connect and than it starts playing seamless for hours again.

There are hick-ups, but I'm glad it works.

Thx for the heads-up about the subdomain-thing ( stream... vs. stream2... ).

I have wondered what was up when i was not able to access theses via Aimp.

For the past few years I have worked from home i would listen to the stream and then attempt to shazam the songs i really was into an added to my playlist on deezer. I never mentioned this because it seemed like advertisement, but in light of the death of the HQ streams i would throw it out there if anyone is interested. the playlist is quite large and mostly flac should you subscribe to deezer.

If the AAC stream existed ( perhaps better quality ), I could rip it an encode to mp3!
Is any info regarding AAC??

I can highly recommend bassdrive which has great DJs and a pretty active community. Bitrate options on top right of homepage.

Frisky is throwing 401's all over the place, again.

all 4 chan´s still present over here in germoney, but only in low quality, the high´s are vanished again in the 401´s!
it should be enough for listening, if some set fits, i dl them on vk in 320 ;-)

Not sure what you mean with chan, but all my known Frisky streams give a 401.

Yes, as a Frisky Radio subscriber, you can download all past to present DJ sets in 320kbps mp3, from the mobile app (offline listening), or from the classic website. Some people put those on P2P channels, Soulseek for instance.
You also get 320k streams for all channels, from the app (well, theoretically), or using your personal token in the stream url.
Too bad that, as a tech company, they don't offer time-coded cuelist though. Only straight text tracklist on the DJ set pages which you have to copy, paste and edit if you want to ID a particular track. Too much of a hassle to be honest.

Support is friendly, but they seem to run on a very short staff, if any.
Kind of automatic faceless business or something, except for Solefield wich is news director.
Not sure there's someone doing the technical stuff full time.
Hence the hiccups.

As of late, the streams don't expose the artist and set name anymore. Pity on hardware streamer like Logitech / Lyrion Media Server.

I'll try to ask support about this.

I'm also a Soma.fm supporter for years now, which is much more tech savvy albeit with an old school flavor.
