ProofNet is our live production exchange: real Bitcoin, one-second auctions, every day. This release opens it up - a public SDK, delegation for AI agents, and a ready-to-run trading skill.
- An account key appoints an agent key. The agent key can trade all day. It can never withdraw, appoint, or revoke - enforced server-side at the protocol layer, not by application policy. A delegate that tries gets a rule error from the exchange itself.
- Handing your agent the desk is two env vars:
SIDEPIT_WIF=<agent key>SIDEPIT_ID=<account>. - Your Bitcoin address IS your account. Your
sidepit_idis the bc1q address of a key minted on your own machine. Keys never leave it. Withdrawals return only to that address - there is no destination field to mistype.

AGENTS.mdis the entry door. Give an agent the repo and say: "Read AGENTS.md and show me the live quote."skills/sidepit-trade/is a seven-step runbook - setup, keyless market read, credentials, order, position, flatten, withdraw - with exact commands and expected output.- The keyless quickstart takes two minutes: clone, venv,
examples/quickstart.py, and you're reading the live production quote with zero credentials.
sidepit_api.protois the entire contract - every message the exchange speaks, exactly as production speaks it: https://github.com/sidepit/Public-API-Data- NNG over TCP, protobuf payloads,
api.sidepit.com, nine public ports: submit, market pulse, auction echo, order and margin feed, queries, clearing, closed bars, rejections, snapshot sync. The ports are public by design - you talk to the exchange directly. - Orders batch into one-second auction epochs. Within an epoch, best price wins; fastest machine does not.
- You mint your own order id (
{sidepit_id}:{timestamp_ns}) before the exchange ever sees it, and it's the correlation key on every feed.
- CancelReplace: cancel the residual, repost the remainder, one message - the primitive real market-making loops need.
- Margin engine: fixed an end-of-day settlement edge on contract roll. The regression test was red before the fix and green after.
- Clock discipline: epoch-timer work and a drift test. In a one-second auction, time handling is a correctness feature, not plumbing.
- A CCXT adapter (TypeScript) that client-signs the protobuf and relays through a gateway that holds no keys - verified byte-for-byte against the Python signer.
- Education tracks covering the cryptography, NNG, and protobuf you need, from zero.
