Hello Urban Drivestyle folks,
Went and fetched the bike today from the Toronto airport. By and large, it looks great. There are some things missing, however:
No throttle - I assume this was shipped separately via FedEx as I have a package that they will deliver tomorrow.
No rear wheel lock. There's a mount for it, the bike came with keys (either the wheel lock or the battery? Not sure what the keys are for at this point)
No battery/rear light array. I think Ossi mentioned you may have shipped that separately? Hopefully that is with tomorrow's shipment.
The front wheel also seems to be rubbing against something and/or not moving as freely as it should. This is also where the motor is housed so I'm a little bit nervous about trying to fix that.
I realize you are busy, but I would really appreciate hearing from you on these items. Thanks.

What I didn't mention, but will in a followup:
There is no hub gear -- so it's a single speed, not a three speed Shimano hub as detailed on the indiegogo page. I can't see any reference to speeds on the UD shop page for the Micro, so it's possible the hub didn't make it to the final design.
The shipped battery charger came with a European cable and plug, although the actual charger does handle North American voltages, and the connector is the common "mickey mouse" style connector type that many computer cables use. |
