Was on break last week
Pagination for bqrs landed, need to finish up for interpreted, then can embrace the glorious future of massive red diffs at last.
Did master -> main on vscode-codeql
Did a bunch of code review for @aeisenberg, compare view landed, some UX tweaking remains to be done.

Working on Reflection materials, will finish today.
Pagination/moving over to CLI bqrs parsing progress.
Had a nice v chat with ginsbach, not specifically urgently required, but seemed useful.
Design discussions with several parties about how the extension gets CLI versions, think we've got a decent plan for enabling platform-specific releases now.

Got a patch release out, work on jump-to-def continues.
General productivity still reduced from mysterious probably-not-infectious-disease-related health woes.

Got the qltest release out, work on other bugfixes continues.
Productivity slightly hammered from pandemic preparation/reaction etc., but gradually stabilizing.

qltest and UI issue fix landed, just waiting on docs goahead to release
next release also includes several nice bugfixes from andrew, who has been super helpful
generally everything in life is peachy and there is certainly no concerning global-scale news distracting me from untrammeled productivity and contentment

qltest PR has just one concrete blocking UI issue before landing. Demo'ed to shati, appropriate issues have been created, etc., promised docs team we'd wait for their greenlight before actually releasing.
Spent some time fixing bothersome long-standing flaky tests in CI.
Andrew's onboarding going adequately I think; he's been asking good questions & finding gaps in documentation, which I have been trying to patch up. Gave him a few starter issues to pick from, & we chatted a bit yesterday about what might be after that.

Getting some good quotidian bugfix & feature work done this week. Getting code review is occasionally a slowing-down factor, but not really a blocker since it's reasonably easy to find bits of work that don't conflict. I expect this to smooth out when Andrew arrives.
Finally figured out what was going wrong with the release automation, it's just a trivial missing git line in the workflow file.
Having some fine conversations with shati about docs, trying to schedule demo with dave and her for qltest work.
Starting to try to move some docs that were helpful for me for onboarding from wiki into github-culturally appropriate place, (= md files in team repo) for Andrew's benefit. Am curious if he's going to have access to semmle wiki at all or not?

Conversation with Isa went well; is that transition still likely to happen, if so, how does timing look.
General temperature-taking about vscode release process, docs team interactions etc. etc. I think we're more or less fine now just wanted to chat about it a little.

Haven't knocked out any concrete docs or plans for Andrew's benefit yet but still very conscious of that and hoping to get some done next week.

vscode extension release process feels like it's converging, backlog of PRs from before break starting to get close to empty.
trying to make sure I'm well prepared for andrew's arrival to make sure his onboarding goes well, thinking documenting code structure etc.
are travel arrangements for hack house getting finalized soon? anything else nonobvious I should do to prepare for that? have done a cursory amount of attempting to build github/semantic and skimming the papers their README.md links. I do see the suggested project issues in https://github.com/github/dsp-code-intelligence so can read what's there as well.
