@shernandez-git that is correct, it is /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules
Ubuntu 20.04.2 (march 2021), the end of line comment (after GROUP="plugdev"
) seems to mess up with reloading the udev
rules. None of the below works (ie, fastboot devices
still returns "no permissions (missing udev rules? ..."
sudo systemctl restart udev
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm trigger
Removing the end of line comment fix the problem. I just move the comment in an extra line
