Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java / Web Services)
Location: Roseville, MN 
Duration: 10+ months (Long Term)

Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer develops, tests and maintains software modules.
They actively participate as part of a scrum team using agile principles with emphasis on development, unit test, code reviews, component and functional testing and maintenance.
Must be able to grasp new technologies quickly and collaborate within, and across groups, as necessary.

Responsibilities include:
Documentation of code
Refine loosely-defined requirements and continuous stakeholder feedback into demonstrable code
Unit and Component Testing
Feature Development
Product Maintenance
Active participation in Scrum team
Product quality
Participation in sprint demonstrations with executive and customer stakeholders

Qualifications:
Demonstrated passion for quality, innovative approach to solving problems and a customer-first attitude are required.
4+ years of Java Web Service experience – JSON, REST, Web API
Experience with Spring, Tomcat, JPA, JDBC, C/C++, CORBA, Oauth, SAML, Hibernate
Knowledge of https and web service security principals – PKI, x509
Demonstrable understanding of UNIX/Windows system components and their interactions, including file systems.
Experience with Role Based Access Control and Multi-tenancy
Understanding of common identity management systems including LDAP, NIS and Active Directory
Strong analytical thinking and ability to analyze and optimize existing software applications for purpose of maintenance or redesign.

Education:
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
