Greetings! | |
Thanks for signing up to attend the Nordic Perl Workshop 2011 in
Malmö! This email contains a few small updates.
# TALKS | |
We still need more talks! The deadline is Really Soon, so if you
want to speak and did not submit a talk yet, please do so as soon
as possible. Talks on all aspects of Perl development are welcome.
Available talk durations are 20 minutes and 40 minutes. Giving a
talk also gets you free attendance.

# LIGHTNING TALKS | |
We'll have a session of lightning talks on the first day. These are
ideal if you have something short to say, or if you want to speak
but don't feel like or have time to prepare a full-size talk. The
idea: you have a slot of up to 5 minutes. Go over 5 minutes, and
we'll make a noise with an as yet undetermined noise-making doodah
and lovingly eject you from the stage.
# PRE-WORKSHOP MEETUP & HOTELS
If you're interested in meeting up the evening before the workshop,
add your name to this page:
http://conferences.yapceurope.org/npw2011/wiki?node=PreWorkshopMeeting
We'll try and get something worked out. You may also want to put
where you're staying, to increase your chance of having somebody
to get lost with on the way to the venue. ;-)

# ONE LAST THING... | |
We're not divulging anything...but set your t-shirt size in your profile.
In totally unrelated matters, our logo is quite cute, isn't it?
# THAT'S ALL, FOLKS | |
We look forward to seeing you in Malmö!
/Carl and Jonathan |
