Installing Ruby 2.3.x in Arch Linux

Have openssl-1.0 and gcc installed

sudo pacman -S --needed openssl-1.0 gcc

Install Ruby 2.3.x with gcc and openssl path defined

CC=gcc \
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/openssl-1.0/pkgconfig \
RUBY_CONFIGURE_OPTS="--with-openssl-dir=/usr/lib/openssl-1.0" \
RUBY_EXTRA_CONFIGURE_OPTIONS="--with-openssl-dir=/usr/lib/openssl-1.0" \
CONFIGURE_OPTS="--with-openssl-dir=/usr/lib/openssl-1.0" \
asdf install ruby 2.3.1
