The statement combines several claims and opinions, mainly skepticism about Iran's nuclear program being solely peaceful, a broad dismissal of contrary views as appeasement, and an assertion that the IAEA is inherently more truthful than internal critics

The American people aren’t stupid. Stop with the bullshit about Iran’s domestic nuclear energy program and needs. That’s appeasement and capitulation, period. Don’t lie to us.  It’s a sad day when the UN’s IAEA is more truthful than the fifth column isolationists.

The UN's IAEA is more truthful than the 'fifth column isolationists'. rejected https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna13685502 In December 2002 the North Koreans shocked most of the world by ordering the three IAEA inspectors to leave the country, shutting down 1 cameras monitoring the nuclear complex in Yongbyon and removing the IAEA seals in their nuclear facilities. The following month, Pyongyang announced it had withdrawn from the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), restarted its small research reactor, and began removing spent nuclear fuel rods for likely reprocessing into weapons-grade plutonium. In October 2003, it announced that it had finished reprocessing spent fuel rods into plutonium and now possesses “nuclear deterrence”—another way of saying it has the bomb. No independent confirmation was available.

🤖 Conclusion [25/100]: The statement combines several claims and opinions, mainly skepticism about Iran's nuclear program being solely peaceful, a broad dismissal of contrary views as appeasement, and an assertion that the IAEA is inherently more truthful than internal critics ('fifth column isolationists').

The claim that Iran's nuclear program is not for peaceful/domestic/energy purposes is not directly supported by the sources: the 2017 NYT article points out that Iran maintains it seeks nuclear technology for energy and medical use as a legitimate NPT signatory, which is supported by the JCPOA deal. There is no presented conclusive evidence in the sources to rebut this publicly stated purpose.

On the subject of the IAEA's trustworthiness versus 'fifth column isolationists,' the sources do not support a categorical judgment. The NBC report on North Korea does not demonstrate a pattern of greater truthfulness, but rather the limits of IAEA's access and information. The ProPublica and 2006 NYT sources are inconclusive on this claim.

Thus, the statement involves heavy opinion and hyperbole not adequately justified or supported by factual sources in the table. Its broad and pejorative assertions lack substantive backing, so the truthfulness is quite low, though not absolutely baseless. A score of 25 reflects this.
