The
for currentValue > 0 {
loops loop forever and the code seems to work just fine with them removed.

should be simplified to
func (value Bitmask) IsSet(test Bitmask) bool { return value&test != 0 }

for currentValue > 0 {
loops loop forever and the code seems to work just fine with them removed.
