- 1-2 onions diced
- Garlic (as much as you'd like)
- Fresh tomatoes (quartered, remove skins if you like)
- Diced tomatoes (canned)
- Tomato paste (one tube / small can)
- Fresh basil
- Heat some olive oil in pan
- Add minced garlic and allow to simmer until flavorful
- Add onions and continue simmering until translucent ish
- Add fresh tomatoes. Simmer 10-15 minutes until wilted
- Add canned tomatoes
- Add tomato paste
- Add basil leaves (roughly chopped)
- Stir together and bring to a simmer
- Turn heat down and simmer for 1-2-3 hours until has a consistency of sauce (not too watery)
