## Ingredients | |
- 1-2 onions diced | |
- Garlic (as much as you'd like) | |
- Fresh tomatoes (quartered, remove skins if you like) | |
- Diced tomatoes (canned) | |
- Tomato paste (one tube / small can) | |
- Fresh basil | |
## Steps | |
1. Heat some olive oil in pan | |
2. Add minced garlic and allow to simmer until flavorful | |
3. Add onions and continue simmering until translucent ish | |
4. Add fresh tomatoes. Simmer 10-15 minutes until wilted | |
5. Add canned tomatoes | |
6. Add tomato paste | |
7. Stir together and bring to a simmer | |
8. Turn heat down and simmer for 1-2-3 hours until has a consistency of sauce (not too watery) |
