To ship

What's the URL of your prototype?

If your product does not live on the web, see my DM.

What is on your backlog for shipping?

E.g. work on visual/branding, complete building, solicit feedback from five users

What date are you aiming for the launch of this version of your product?

Think of it as a date when you will broadcast this product to your community.

How are you going to pitch this product to your community/related organizations?

Lay out your elevator pitch. Then write a paragraph about the specifics, e.g. the platform you are going to use, the freqency you are going to publicize.

Once you've shipped your current version, how are you going to iterate your product?

Your product has evolved, and will evolve, based on your user feedback; not how you would like to see it. Your tabled ideas could still be valid, but don't add them back to your product as a default.

How do you plan to get feedback from your community?

E.g. Send emails to five people who have used it

To reflect

My scope was:

  • just right
  • too large
  • too small

I was a manager for my product

  • yes
  • no

I would like to manage this product

  • by myself mostly
  • with a designer/developer/team

How would you assess the decisions you made early on the class?

As you developed your product, were there any decisions that led to unexpected outcomes/caused you headache? If so, what changes did you make and how did they affect your product?

Did you end up solving the problem you set out to do so? If not, what problem did you solve?

What roles have you played in developing your product? And what roles do you think you are capable of in future projects?
