##Working Draft Ever since I can remember, if asked what I wanted to be when I grew up or what I want to do with my life, my answer has been: I'm not sure but I want it to involve me creating something, building something, fixing a problem. I always loved solving puzzles and video games and I still do! Equally motivating is the feeling of being creative and creating something beautiful or inventive. In highschool I thought I may want to aim for the arts or theater and I ended up working towards a design degree. However, i quickly realized this path was not quite the right fit and hopped over to a different industry. I began a study and career as a massage therapist. I've always felt that I was methodical and precise and good with my hands and this is probably what led me to this new venture. The gratification of helping others and knowing i was good at my job was a great motivator along with the promise of schedule freedom, a solid living and self employment. I was extremely dedicated to my clients and as the career began to fit less with how I had envisioned it would evolve it grew more and more difficult to leave this industry to explore something new. after almost 8 years I finally made the jump to the cannabis industry as it was blooming in this state and i had interest previously. I very much enjoyed this departure and learned a great deal about a new and 'budding' industry but, more importantly it gave me time to really think about the next direction i needed to head with my professional path. I heard about turing from a few sources and the try coding weekend was so accessible so it made the choice easy and i am very excited about where things are heading now... more to come..
