| [00:02:12] Yeah, sorry for making it today. | |
| [00:02:15] Can you introduce yourself? | |
| [00:02:17] And any education background? | |
| [00:02:21] Yes, good afternoon, sir. | |
| [00:02:22] I'm Rohita Indikuri and I'm a graduate from Al-Ahradi College of Engineering from Data Science Department. | |
| [00:02:31] And I'm an expert in full stack development and Python, Django and SQL. | |
| [00:02:39] And also done also through academic course and also through my personal and academic projects, I completed few projects. | |
| [00:02:51] And I also done internship for about four months in a sub-metech solution company. | |
| [00:03:00] And yes, and also through my internship, I gained experience in the, I worked as an SD intern, as SD intern, and I performed some | |
| [00:03:16] tasks and also worked as an | |
| [00:03:21] And also participated in testings and also participated in means of functionality development and also testing the functionality and yeah, and I worked. | |
| [00:03:38] Okay, so do you know the job description? | |
| [00:03:40] Did you read the job description before coming to the interview? | |
| [00:03:44] Yes. | |
| [00:03:46] So the role was like not like software developing engineer. | |
| [00:03:51] Since you already work as a SD, I'm just letting you know. | |
| [00:03:53] So we hired initially for L1 support consultant. | |
| [00:03:58] So your job is to monitor. | |
| [00:04:01] So at least for an year, you will be only monitoring the automations. | |
| [00:04:06] You won't be given any chance to touch the code. | |
| [00:04:08] And moreover, we do mainly focus on a tool called UiPath. | |
| [00:04:13] Along with the tool, there are other tools as well, Power Automate or like even machine learning models. | |
| [00:04:18] But with all things, only you will get it when you have enough experience. | |
| [00:04:22] But at the junior level, | |
| [00:04:24] you will be in like a L1 or support developer almost for one to two years. | |
| [00:04:30] If you are okay with the job role, then we'll move forward. | |
| [00:04:39] Means so am I as a software developer intern as an also I'm a fresher and also want to and I also gain experience through my internship I also want to you know also future also I want to | |
| [00:04:54] join work and help in the software role so that I can gain more growth in that also I'm expecting | |
| [00:05:04] in future is it | |
| [00:05:12] Yeah, yeah. | |
| [00:05:13] Tell me. | |
| [00:05:13] I mean, I didn't understand what you're trying to say. | |
| [00:05:18] Yeah, I'm getting that you are telling the monitoring the to automating the task. | |
| [00:05:23] I am getting that you are telling the L1 developer role associate role you telling that I got it. | |
| [00:05:30] But I also wanted to that is it possible that in the future if there will be a chance of involving into the coding path as well. | |
| [00:05:42] That will definitely happen. | |
| [00:05:43] There are individuals who grow from level to level. | |
| [00:05:46] But like for at least for one year, if you are comfortable to continue as an L1, then we can move forward. | |
| [00:05:52] At least for one year, you need to work on that road. | |
| [00:06:03] Your voice is not audible. | |
| [00:06:05] Yes, you can continue. | |
| [00:06:07] You are telling something. | |
| [00:06:09] No, no, no. | |
| [00:06:10] I mean, I'm saying like you are expecting a developer or code changes with all things, right? | |
| [00:06:15] Yeah, I want to. | |
| [00:06:16] I want to. | |
| [00:06:20] Yeah, you can continue. | |
| [00:06:22] Yeah, I want to involve in both sides. | |
| [00:06:24] I mean, I want to involve in the coding as well. | |
| [00:06:27] If I want, sometimes I will involve in this as well. | |
| [00:06:31] So I'm expecting that. | |
| [00:06:33] Okay. | |
| [00:06:34] So when you're thinking about coding, what kind of code are you expecting? | |
| [00:06:41] means in any projects, means suppose if we have projects involving some coding task like that also. | |
| [00:06:50] If I'm interested in this also, but in case if I also want to involve in this as well. | |
| [00:07:00] Okay, so I'll be clear to you. | |
| [00:07:03] So when you think of coding, so there will be like we do have a tool. | |
| [00:07:09] When you say tool, there will be like pre-built activities in place. | |
| [00:07:12] So we'll be designing an automations for handling daily activities. | |
| [00:07:17] So take an example, there is a thousands of emails should be sent every day across the users. | |
| [00:07:24] There's a user and user will be varying, right? | |
| [00:07:27] So a human will take. | |
| [00:07:30] An amount of time to send those normally. | |
| [00:07:32] But for that, we do have some simple activities in place where we can design an automation. | |
| [00:07:37] So based on the input, bot can read the end user mail letters and it can send an email with the predefined body of the mail. | |
| [00:07:44] That's a smallest project. | |
| [00:07:46] It's not even a project. | |
| [00:07:47] I'm just telling you use case. | |
| [00:07:48] So like that, we have complex automations in design as well. | |
| [00:07:53] Okay, so this is not something you think like Visual Studio or like a Python, these all things. | |
| [00:07:59] It's like a .NET based UiPath tool. | |
| [00:08:03] Okay, so now the UiPath was currently focusing on like the one which I said is | |
| [00:08:08] traditional jaypath so there are complex like document understanding and aaml models along with some agentic automation that's going bigger | |
| [00:08:18] so this is what actually focus when you want to become a development okay so for one year you don't think like you're only the monitoring resources you have every ability to show your caliber | |
| [00:08:31] to involve in the code changes how good you are i mean like that's how quickly you'll get promoted here based on my performance yeah if you only perform on your current role | |
| [00:08:42] it will take a year if you show interest quickly and develop some code changes or like give your suggestions and root cause analysis to your manager or lead probably there will be a chance that you might get promoted | |
| [00:08:56] somewhere quickly in between a year. | |
| [00:09:02] And what kind of projects we will work on soon? | |
| [00:09:06] Okay. | |
| [00:09:06] So the projects are mostly dealing with like, so initially you will be hired for L1 support consultant. | |
| [00:09:14] That's a L1 support monitoring role. | |
| [00:09:16] So that entire project we deal with cars and their related models and like how many cars are sold. | |
| [00:09:25] This is an entire US-based project. | |
| [00:09:27] Okay. | |
| [00:09:28] So the cars, like take an example, we have 2026 new models being rolled into market, right? | |
| [00:09:33] So this model and like there will be sunroof, moonroof, something like the models will be changing. | |
| [00:09:38] There will be a portal called web vehicle portal. | |
| [00:09:40] So every new design car will get it from Honda portal, for example. | |
| [00:09:46] So we will write a code in such a way that the bot logs into the Honda and gets the PDF files. | |
| [00:09:53] Invoices available and it downloads the invoices reads the data from the invoice where we have core details | |
| [00:10:00] okay and then that details will be entered into one more portal called web vehicle so we'll start in the details in the car so every new car will be there in the portal that's a small automation | |
| [00:10:12] like that will also print checks for like a banking projects take an example you are the user that you submitted a check for cashing you want to cash out the check for example you'll submit for the bot so bot will read your address | |
| [00:10:25] your i mean like first name last name or how much amount that you placed for and how many locations so bot will print the checks up on behalf of the bank and then finally you'll get the checks something like that | |
| [00:10:40] In the meanwhile, what are the technologies I can... | |
| [00:10:44] I don't know about your internet. | |
| [00:10:48] Your internet is like not that good enough. | |
| [00:10:50] So there is a bit of lag between your video and your voice. | |
| [00:10:54] Now is it working? | |
| [00:10:57] Now is it okay? | |
| [00:10:59] It's better. | |
| [00:11:01] Okay, no problem. | |
| [00:11:03] Okay. | |
| [00:11:04] It means what kind of technologies that I'm going to work on and in the future, what kind of technologies that I can expect to work in? | |
| [00:11:15] So currently you will be working on a tool called UiPath that is like a RPA. | |
| [00:11:20] This is called a robotic process automation and we have a wider range of tools in RPA. | |
| [00:11:25] So UiPath is one of the tools. | |
| [00:11:27] So currently you will be working on a traditional RPA. | |
| [00:11:31] So later it's like it depends on how the tool evolves. | |
| [00:11:33] At this point of time when I joined it's like all the day to day activities. | |
| [00:11:37] Later we got document understanding. | |
| [00:11:38] There is some ML models. | |
| [00:11:40] Now like agentic automation, agents. | |
| [00:11:44] It will evolve based on that you need to learn and continue. | |
| [00:11:47] But at the end of the day, I can just tell you it's a tool. | |
| [00:11:50] Like if you are interested in playing code and everything, so you might feel a bit irritated or something like that. | |
| [00:12:00] It's a tool. | |
| [00:12:02] It's a tool. | |
| [00:12:03] Yeah, it's a tool. | |
| [00:12:04] So if you want to write a Python code, right, something like that, if you're good at it, so then it would be a different story for you, for your IPAR. | |
| [00:12:14] So my background is from data science department. | |
| [00:12:18] So my tech stack is also based upon Python and it's Python and it's web framework Django. | |
| [00:12:26] That's machine learning. | |
| [00:12:27] I got that experience. | |
| [00:12:30] So is it completely, not completely, or is it somewhat matches to my role now which I'm going to work? | |
| [00:12:42] It's not something it will match probably. | |
| [00:12:44] There are chances in the organization that you'll be working. | |
| [00:12:48] But to go to that role, it's like not that easy. | |
| [00:12:52] Yeah. | |
| [00:12:54] So like you will be like an L1 and you will become a support developer where you will be involved in code changes and everything. | |
| [00:13:00] And later you will be like a full length developer. | |
| [00:13:04] And during these three roles, then you might get promoted to lead or whatever. | |
| [00:13:09] So it depends. | |
| [00:13:12] Means after L2 or another role, so I will be a chance to work in the coding area. | |
| [00:13:20] After being an L1 also, you will be working in coding. | |
| [00:13:24] But the coding is something you think, I know like, let's say, | |
| [00:13:27] put this i know data structures and java so usually you put like functions and everything in place and then you'll execute the code but here it's like a there come activities where you'll drag and drop but it will completely depends on how logically you are thinking on | |
| [00:13:42] to design the solution right | |
| [00:13:44] So that solution, how you design, it depends. | |
| [00:13:47] Like you can write a brute force code and you can write an optimal code normally on a plain code. | |
| [00:13:52] Similarly, you can write a normal design code and you can also write a code that makes better looking in UAPR. | |
| [00:14:01] So that's what I'm telling you. | |
| [00:14:05] Okay, and you told that after, yeah, I can, as you told, sir, you also has a chance to work with coding. | |
| [00:14:17] So it will be the related to the Python or else in the level two or the future or it is related to Python only or else any other languages involved? | |
| [00:14:28] It's like the tool is designed and organized. | |
| [00:14:32] So you don't need something pure plain code as well here. | |
| [00:14:39] It requires like a string manipulations like objects or something kind of models and everything. | |
| [00:14:44] You can use the already existing flows in the templates. | |
| [00:14:55] Hello? | |
| [00:14:56] Yes, I'm getting it. | |
| [00:14:58] Okay. | |
| [00:14:59] So just letting you know, if you're only interested, I'll proceed further, else that's fine. | |
| [00:15:07] Yes, sir. | |
| [00:15:08] I'm currently interested in it. | |
| [00:15:13] Okay, the reason I'm telling you, right, because we might, we do also have an 18 months bond. | |
| [00:15:19] So just in case, I don't know if you got that information or not. | |
| [00:15:23] I don't want to. | |
| [00:15:26] I didn't get any information. | |
| [00:15:28] Okay, that's what I'm telling you. | |
| [00:15:30] I'll just make you aware of the role and like the bond detail. | |
| [00:15:34] If you both, if you are familiar or interested, then I'll proceed further. | |
| [00:15:39] If not, that's okay. | |
| [00:15:40] 18 months or so. | |
| [00:15:43] 18, 18, 1 and a half. | |
| [00:15:47] Can I know the package details? | |
| [00:15:51] I mean, like, how much you're expecting? | |
| [00:15:54] Means as I am into the experience in software developer role and also be after completing my BTEC also through my college placement only I worked as a software development intern so | |
| [00:16:11] I want to be a good compensation I'm expecting for a fresher. | |
| [00:16:19] Okay. | |
| [00:16:20] So like, you know, right, how much TCS or like these all normal MNCs companies in between three to four? | |
| [00:16:28] I mean, it depends like the normal. | |
| [00:16:31] IBM like IBM and some Accenture companies, they will offer you up to 4.5. | |
| [00:16:39] Okay. | |
| [00:16:39] So like we do offer something between 3.5 to 4 as far as I know. | |
| [00:16:45] So 3.5 to 4. | |
| [00:16:48] It depends. | |
| [00:16:49] It can be 3.5 or it can be 4, but it can be anywhere in between that. | |
| [00:16:56] And is there bond? | |
| [00:16:58] Can I work? | |
| [00:16:59] Is there bond will be any for 12 months? | |
| [00:17:03] No, no, no. | |
| [00:17:03] It will be for 18 months as we discussed earlier. | |
| [00:17:07] So just like since you already worked as an HD, right? | |
| [00:17:10] So it would be better you can continue on your current role that you're already interested. | |
| [00:17:16] Seems like you have a lot of doubts as well. | |
| [00:17:18] So once you are into this role and it also like every day kind of unexpected scenarios for you. | |
| [00:17:27] means you are giving suggestions something like that yeah because you have a lot of doubts as well right on the role and everything since you are already working in software development engineer so yeah for four months | |
| [00:17:39] okay so it depends on your caliber because i don't know how caliber you are if you are good at like a front-end design or back-end or like everything so you would be | |
| [00:17:47] Yeah, I'll do that. | |
| [00:17:49] Yeah. | |
| [00:17:51] That's a full stack development. | |
| [00:17:53] Can I think for one day? | |
| [00:17:57] Yeah, you can connect with Nextwave and they will schedule a call if you're okay. | |
| [00:18:02] But one thing I'm sure like if you're interested only, I'll proceed further even that day because after I hire you and like everything that you face issues, | |
| [00:18:12] I mean, like you won't face issues, I'm saying like at least working as a one year also a kind of. | |
| [00:18:18] Difficult for someone like in monitoring role. | |
| [00:18:21] Like someone will think a different story and the reality will be different. | |
| [00:18:25] So after a year, you can see some changes like you will be extremely involved in the code or project or everything. | |
| [00:18:32] But for initial one year, it will be like a normal day to day activities. | |
| [00:18:38] There will be no that kind of work involved. | |
| [00:18:41] Yeah. | |
| [00:18:43] At that day-to-day work, you don't involve anything, but you can spend extra time. | |
| [00:18:46] But once you are into that kind of role, it will be difficult for you. | |
| [00:18:49] Can I get a training in the starting time? | |
| [00:18:53] Can I get training or something, anything? | |
| [00:18:55] You will get a training for sure, but the training and everything will start after you are okay with these all things. | |
| [00:19:02] The training will be there in every organization. | |
| [00:19:05] But once you are okay with the role or like the bond, everything only, right, we will invest time or money on you. | |
| [00:19:12] Okay. | |
| [00:19:15] Yeah, and also can I get the compensation around 4 to 4.25 like that? | |
| [00:19:28] Let me put this way. | |
| [00:19:29] So you are not the only person we are hiring, right? | |
| [00:19:32] So there are already people who are working 100 plus members. | |
| [00:19:37] In my organization like in our organization so for you i because i i'm | |
| [00:19:43] i'm not uh i'm not because i'm saying that i'm experiencing some software developing roles so | |
| [00:19:50] uh when uh so i will be more involved in my work and more adaptable i will and i also want to involve more things like | |
| [00:20:00] So I'm just confident in my stuff like that. | |
| [00:20:05] Okay, I understand you have every right to say like you have entered. | |
| [00:20:09] But as far as I know, because I'm not the concerned person to say fairly, but even if you want to talk, I can talk. | |
| [00:20:15] But it's like very minimal chances that you get what you're expecting. | |
| [00:20:20] So like we also hired an intern. | |
| [00:20:23] I think you are 2025 college pastor, right? | |
| [00:20:25] Yeah, yes. | |
| [00:20:26] We already hired an intern from 2024. | |
| [00:20:29] I mean like 2025 college pastor, but in 2024 we are hired. | |
| [00:20:33] But for them only, they got the package around four. | |
| [00:20:38] But then they got around 4, 2024 passed out. | |
| [00:20:41] 2025 passed out, but they are an interns from 2024. | |
| [00:20:47] For one year they worked in our organization as interns, so then we finalized as like 4, I think 4 LPs, 4 CITs. | |
| [00:20:54] So it will be difficult for you to fit that. | |
| [00:20:56] So I'm just letting you know the facts. | |
| [00:21:00] What did I got? | |
| [00:21:08] So, in some companies, I heard that if there are bond records, there will be deducted in salary. | |
| [00:21:19] Is that the rule in this company? | |
| [00:21:23] These are all things like I'm not familiar, but that is the reason. | |
| [00:21:28] Means if I join the company, I want to ask everything, right? | |
| [00:21:31] That's why I'm making sure that... | |
| [00:21:33] No, no, no, you are correct. | |
| [00:21:34] So, say like if you put a bond, the reason we put bond because we don't need to waste our money and time. | |
| [00:21:42] I already put 30 minutes on you. | |
| [00:21:43] So, like that, take an example, you put like 30 days or like... | |
| [00:21:47] Under this training you and all of a sudden you want to move away with some whatever reason it depends right so we need to hire again a new candidate and train them and like meanwhile i need we need to answer the client and everything | |
| [00:22:04] So in the means and also if there will be any salary hike is it? | |
| [00:22:11] Definitely you will get hike like see. | |
| [00:22:14] How many? | |
| [00:22:16] Let me put this here. | |
| [00:22:17] So I understand you have a lot of queries for hike related thing. | |
| [00:22:22] Take an example you are started your career at like. | |
| [00:22:25] Take 3.6, for example. | |
| [00:22:28] Let me put this way. | |
| [00:22:32] You started as 3.6 CTC. | |
| [00:22:35] So if you want promoted to different role where your work has been increased, like you are no longer an L1, you became an software developer or some complex automations you are doing day to day with client. | |
| [00:22:49] Or like with everyone right so it depends now this girl is like i've been doing really well and we are dependent on you might get seven | |
| [00:22:57] it's not that difficult but yeah that is so for one for one year you told right we get promotion yeah for one year that too if you saw | |
| [00:23:06] that you've been like really well like the current role you have been doing really well and there is nothing for you to do anymore in the monitoring then only like people see your work like your manager or your direct reporting manager might you might also will provide some certification vouchers | |
| [00:23:21] So meanwhile, you can complete like developer certifications and everything. | |
| [00:23:24] If you are okay with all those completions, then people will think, okay, we might need to promote him. | |
| [00:23:31] When there is a chance, then you will be the first person to get promoted, like first come first serve line. | |
| [00:23:39] Development certification means that is also related to UiPath that Elvin related or else something like... | |
| [00:23:46] Yeah, UiPath developer certification. | |
| [00:23:49] Means like software, like that certifications. | |
| [00:23:52] Yeah, like that only. | |
| [00:23:54] It will be what for three years, I guess, three years. | |
| [00:24:03] Once I will think and I will get back to you for the next few companies. | |
| [00:24:07] Yes, sir. | |
