| [00:03:47] You're high, Binet. | |
| [00:03:50] Yeah, hi, sir. | |
| [00:03:52] Good afternoon. | |
| [00:03:54] Good afternoon. | |
| [00:04:04] So, where are you from? | |
| [00:04:07] I'm from Chandrapur, Maharashtra. | |
| [00:04:11] My gosh. | |
| [00:04:11] Okay. | |
| [00:04:12] Yeah. | |
| [00:04:12] Got it. | |
| [00:04:16] One second. | |
| [00:04:17] Can you... | |
| [00:04:21] Yeah. | |
| [00:04:22] So, Vinay, how was your interview before this, as in the first round? | |
| [00:04:29] In technical round? | |
| [00:04:30] Yeah. | |
| [00:04:31] Yeah. | |
| [00:04:32] Yeah, it was pretty good. | |
| [00:04:34] Like, interviewer mostly, like, asked about, like, authentication and authorization. | |
| [00:04:41] And go deep on JWT tokens. | |
| [00:04:45] He was more focused on backend side and it went good. | |
| [00:04:51] Understood. | |
| [00:04:52] Understood. | |
| [00:04:53] Got it. | |
| [00:04:54] So, Vineet, can you just tell me about yourself, what education you have done, you know, any internship previously, all those things? | |
| [00:05:03] Oh, yeah, sure. | |
| [00:05:04] So first of all, my name is Vineet Dureddan. | |
| [00:05:06] I'm from Chandrapur, Maharashtra. | |
| [00:05:08] I have done my degree in electrical engineering from Rajagandhi College of Engineering in Chandrapur itself. | |
| [00:05:15] During my graduation, I have done two internships. | |
| [00:05:17] One is in embedded system and another in electrical vehicles. | |
| [00:05:22] And during my graduation, I have also done web development in a month stack. | |
| [00:05:27] Also have done a DSA in Java language. | |
| [00:05:30] So after my graduation, like, | |
| [00:05:33] I landed a job in PhD technology as a technology educator. | |
| [00:05:37] But as from start, my primary interest was already in software. | |
| [00:05:43] So I was looking for a job shift in the IT sector. | |
| [00:05:49] So I was applying and I am here today for the interview. | |
| [00:05:56] So you did electrical engineering and so, you know, why not pursuing, you know, something related to electrical and why not by, you know, in the software? | |
| [00:06:11] Yeah, like many people have asked me this question, like, why are you going in software? | |
| [00:06:17] So like my simple answer like was, like during my graduation time, like during exploration period, like I was exploring many things. | |
| [00:06:27] I have also explored like Emirates system, electric vehicles too. | |
| [00:06:31] And also programming as well. | |
| [00:06:33] So during programming, it was a more interesting field, I found, compared to like Emirates system and electric vehicles, as it was in core field. | |
| [00:06:46] So I have also done projects in Manstack. | |
| [00:06:49] It was pretty interesting to see our code to run in real time and how can it solve the real world problems and how can we contribute to the society. | |
| [00:07:01] How can we do our best in our software? | |
| [00:07:05] Like, yeah, so that's why. | |
| [00:07:10] Got it. | |
| [00:07:11] And you said you went for, you know, the education line, right? | |
| [00:07:18] Education, that means... | |
| [00:07:20] You said... | |
| [00:07:22] Yeah, currently I'm working as a technology educator in the technology. | |
| [00:07:27] Yeah, so what is that all about? | |
| [00:07:31] It is all about like... | |
| [00:07:33] I have to conduct the sessions or seminars in college about like about robotics things. | |
| [00:07:40] So our company primarily work in robotics sector. | |
| [00:07:44] So like in robotics, in AI, I have to give sessions and seminars. | |
| [00:07:49] And sometimes I have to also conduct the workshops in college. | |
| [00:07:53] In college but it is a side work so like I have to also travel in colleges for that or to conduct the workshops. | |
| [00:08:02] So you conduct as in you were giving the seminars or was it someone else you were just coordinating? | |
| [00:08:10] No no no I was the one. | |
| [00:08:12] You were the one who was giving the seminars. | |
| [00:08:14] Yeah, yeah. | |
| [00:08:15] I hope. | |
| [00:08:16] Okay, interesting. | |
| [00:08:17] So, Vinay, can you maybe give some interesting, you know, things or talk about something interesting which you recently, you know, did a seminar on? | |
| [00:08:32] Okay, so I can give a seminar on like IoT things like IoT or embedded system. | |
| [00:08:40] Okay. | |
| [00:08:41] So like how IoT sensors and how the robotics like get in. | |
| [00:08:48] integrated and how can we make a smart solutions for the real time or society for the society so like let's suppose we have to make any embedded system | |
| [00:09:00] a project so first of all we have to uh we should have the pre-requests of like iot sensors we should know about iot sensor we should know about | |
| [00:09:09] i do you know microcontroller so first of all i go through that things like give a basic introduction about that iot sensors and i do you know and microcontroller like how does it works you know no no so so | |
| [00:09:24] do not tell me how you do do the seminar give me maybe a two three minute about iot sensor which you tell your uh you know people who are attending that workshop | |
| [00:09:34] maybe talk about the problem statement how you know this this solution can help something like that just a brief two three minutes talk about that okay sure i got it uh so | |
| [00:09:47] Let's suppose like you are someone who is like listening to my lecture. | |
| [00:09:52] So first of all, let's suppose I have a ultrasonic sensor and we are going to make a project. | |
| [00:10:00] which detects like in cars we have the like ultrasonic sensor to detect like to measure the distance while doing a car parking we have to ensure that we have to ensure that while reversing the car | |
| [00:10:15] like we should not hit by the | |
| [00:10:19] it should not hit by the back like the things which is which is in the back so for that things we use the ultrasonic sensor to sense the distance so let's suppose we have we are going to like | |
| [00:10:32] solve that problem using ultrasonic sensor to measure the distance so we have a ultrasonic sensor we have one arduino you know | |
| [00:10:40] uh to like program that uh sensor and we have a laptop uh and uh in laptop we have already installed arduino idea id or by which we can program that arduino and | |
| [00:10:55] all like with all we can like just give command to that ultrasonic sensor and by specific distance like we can measure that distance or | |
| [00:11:06] using Arduino sensor or so first of all we have to like program Arduino using Arduino ID | |
| [00:11:12] So where we are going to use a embedded C language. | |
| [00:11:17] So for that you should have a prerequisite of C or whether you don't. | |
| [00:11:22] So we will go by basics. | |
| [00:11:25] So first of all, I will tell you about like ultrasonic sensor. | |
| [00:11:28] So it have one receiver. | |
| [00:11:30] and it have one transmitter. | |
| [00:11:32] So receiver just receive the waves which have been sent by your transmitter. | |
| [00:11:41] So it will just measure the distance of that thing. | |
| [00:11:45] And so we are going to solve that problem. | |
| [00:11:48] So we can simply use a chat GPT or | |
| [00:11:52] or you can follow my instruction to that thing. | |
| [00:11:56] So I... | |
| [00:11:57] Understood. | |
| [00:11:59] Okay, so Vinay, in terms of, you know, | |
| [00:12:07] full stack development or yeah right uh so any projects you have done uh recently oh recently yeah oh recently i was like working on like oh | |
| [00:12:23] oh there was a project or a voice agent like so by which | |
| [00:12:29] it was like a cha or we can say a voice assistant a voice assistant uh so like let's suppose we have a pharmacy like we have a hospital like so they are | |
| [00:12:40] all the time we don't we can't answer the calls so we just implemented that ai there also by which like | |
| [00:12:50] whenever a patient calls on this specific number so ai will respond on it so let's suppose a patient have to like a book a appointment for a doctor let's suppose a | |
| [00:13:04] let's suppose any physician so like ai will detect their language so like i had implemented three language detection like in three language like hindi english and | |
| [00:13:15] or Marathi as it is my native language. | |
| [00:13:19] So then AI first of all it will like check which language it is like talking about and then it will like | |
| [00:13:30] find some keywords like let's suppose if you have to book appointments so it will | |
| [00:13:35] and a keyword like a book appointment if we have to cancel an appointment which has been already been uh done | |
| [00:13:43] so it will also like catch one keyword which is a cancel appointment or a reschedule appointment or like that and how many languages was it proficient in | |
| [00:13:58] I am. | |
| [00:13:59] How many languages the AI voice assistant is proficient in? | |
| [00:14:04] Actually, we could have used many languages, but mainly that focus in that app, I had used only three languages like Marathi, English and Hindi. | |
| [00:14:15] Yeah, for that I... | |
| [00:14:17] Yeah, and for that I had used a team gram to translate like a speech to text. | |
| [00:14:24] And for text to speech, I had used 11 labs, a free version of it. | |
| [00:14:30] Got it. | |
| [00:14:31] Understood. | |
| [00:14:32] And this was a solo project, you're saying, right? | |
| [00:14:34] Yeah, it was like a simple project. | |
| [00:14:36] So it was a solo project. | |
| [00:14:39] Understood. | |
| [00:14:39] Understood. | |
| [00:14:41] Great. | |
| [00:14:41] And in terms of, you know, you said 11 labs you have used, right? | |
| [00:14:47] Any other tools which you constantly go back to or use while, you know, learning or maybe doing projects? | |
| [00:14:57] While doing projects, man. | |
| [00:14:59] Which tools I like mostly used you are asking about. | |
| [00:15:03] Also like it depends on one. | |
| [00:15:05] projects, let's suppose | |
| [00:15:10] I am making a month stack project. | |
| [00:15:12] So the tool I will use like, means you're asking about if I use any AI tool or what? | |
| [00:15:19] Yeah, AI tool, correct. | |
| [00:15:21] Yeah, so I use like chat GPT, like for the boiler later code, like later I can, | |
| [00:15:30] call like i can alter it according to my need and uh sometimes like let's suppose sometimes uh | |
| [00:15:37] there is a point like even a cat gbt can't like understand our problem or error in that case i use the copilot uh like copilot can go all through our folders and files and debug if there is any error oh | |
| [00:15:52] and with using like chat gbt it is sometimes impossible to find the error so yeah sometimes i use chat gbt and copilot copilot i rarely used | |
| [00:16:04] Understood. | |
| [00:16:05] You got it. | |
| [00:16:06] Yes. | |
| [00:16:08] In terms of, so you already know that this is a, you know, Noida based company, right? | |
| [00:16:13] Yeah, I know. | |
| [00:16:15] So you're willing to relocate, right? | |
| [00:16:17] Yes, I have no problem. | |
| [00:16:20] Understood. | |
| [00:16:22] Got it. | |
| [00:16:23] And in terms of, you know, do you know about the company, you know, about us, what we do, any, any, some sort of idea? | |
| [00:16:35] Yeah, like companies basically like focused on like how can we simplify supply chain management? | |
| [00:16:43] Like how can a manufacturer give their real product or which is genuine to the distributor and then the person who are using? | |
| [00:16:56] So we have many solutions like we are using like QR code on like that's product for authenticity of it to like | |
| [00:17:10] to like solve that problem like there can't like. | |
| [00:17:15] The distributor and user who are using that product will receive the authentic product. | |
| [00:17:22] And we can also track all the product from manufacturing to distributor to supplier and to users. | |
| [00:17:34] Using our technology. | |
| [00:17:36] Understood. | |
| [00:17:37] Yeah, that's pretty much it. | |
| [00:17:41] Got it. | |
| [00:17:41] Sumit, you have any questions? | |
| [00:17:46] So Vinay, I think this has been a quite a good discussion and I really like the work that you're doing in terms of, you know, giving out classes and educating people about different aspects of tech. | |
| [00:17:58] So this seems to be quite an interesting field that you're engaged with. | |
| [00:18:02] Why do you want to leave that and get into a... | |
| [00:18:05] Software development. | |
| [00:18:06] which I consider to be very boring. | |
| [00:18:09] No sir, for me it's not boring first of all. | |
| [00:18:12] Like I said, I already said I enjoy programming and also in like, as my current role is like an educator or trainer, like I have to visit in colleges. | |
| [00:18:25] So it also includes the travel. | |
| [00:18:27] And if I see about like long term, like long term, | |
| [00:18:33] what I say like I forget that but like long term like what will be like my position in long term so | |
| [00:18:43] all the things by considering all the things so I have to switch in IT field and I am already like my primary interest already lying IT field so | |
| [00:18:55] Yeah, that's why. | |
| [00:18:58] Okay, and you want to remain as a full stack developer or you have interest in looking at other avenues like, you know, data scientist, cloud or anything else? | |
| [00:19:13] No, sir. | |
| [00:19:14] As of now, I'm entirely focused on full stack developer. | |
| [00:19:19] As of now, I'm not looking for that. | |
| [00:19:22] Okay. | |
| [00:19:22] You're open to relocate is what you said, right? | |
| [00:19:26] Yeah, I am open to relocate. | |
| [00:19:28] So have you been to Noida before or have you stayed here before? | |
| [00:19:32] No, I have not been in Northside before, but okay to relocate. | |
| [00:19:41] Okay. | |
| [00:19:41] And what about your family? | |
| [00:19:43] Who all belongs to your family? | |
| [00:19:46] There is like three people, four people, me, my little sister, my mom and my dad. | |
| [00:19:52] My dad does a private job and they are all in Chandrapur itself. | |
| [00:20:00] Engineering also from Chandrapur, right? | |
| [00:20:02] Yes, in Chandrapur. | |
| [00:20:04] Okay, so will it not be difficult for you to step out of Chandrapur? | |
| [00:20:09] No, sir. | |
| [00:20:11] Have you traveled? | |
| [00:20:11] Have you traveled before? | |
| [00:20:13] Yeah, I have traveled. | |
| [00:20:15] Currently, my location is near to Pune. | |
| [00:20:18] So like Chandrapur to Pune is like nearly 750 kilometers. | |
| [00:20:23] So like it will take near about 15 hours to travel from Chandrapur to Pune. | |
| [00:20:28] And I have also traveled so many times in Hyderabad, like for the interviews and other things. | |
| [00:20:35] So I don't have any problem. | |
| [00:20:37] And also in the other side, I have one friend working there. | |
| [00:20:40] So I don't have any problem. | |
| [00:20:44] Okay. | |
| [00:20:45] So in case you get selected, you will be able to find an accommodation here and manage your life alone, right? | |
| [00:20:54] Yes, I have to find a PG. | |
| [00:20:57] Okay. | |
| [00:20:58] So you're open to look at all of that? | |
| [00:21:01] Yeah, but I need like a later time. | |
| [00:21:04] So first of all, I have to give a reason in my company. | |
| [00:21:07] Then I will have to like look for accommodation there and everything. | |
| [00:21:15] How good are you in terms of mobile app development? | |
| [00:21:20] Mobile app development, I have not worked on mobile application, but I know React.js. | |
| [00:21:27] So moving from React.js to React Native will be pretty easy if I consider to switch on it. | |
| [00:21:36] And you're open to learn new technologies like Flutter? | |
| [00:21:39] Yes, sir. | |
| [00:21:40] If a programmer wants to learn, then it is important for him to survive. | |
| [00:21:43] Yeah, I'm open to learn. | |
| [00:21:46] Okay. | |
| [00:21:47] And have you used Cloud Code before? | |
| [00:21:51] Yeah, for making projects. | |
| [00:21:55] I don't use it a lot, but I have used it. | |
| [00:22:01] So what do you think? | |
| [00:22:04] I mean, should you use LLMs to do coding or you should do it on your own? | |
| [00:22:11] No, sir. | |
| [00:22:12] like if we do like lots of company means almost all companies use the LLM like they make their they increase their efficiency like | |
| [00:22:26] the people like five people can code before the same thing now can two or three people can done it with LLM so yeah yeah it make our like | |
| [00:22:39] code a system like our code quality it improves our code quality it improves our efficiency and more important it make us fast to move | |
| [00:22:50] so yes we should use and you don't see that as a threat to your job uh no sir if if i can use it like I don't think it will threat to my job. | |
| [00:23:04] Got it. | |
| [00:23:04] Great. | |
| [00:23:05] Good to speak with you, Vineet. | |
| [00:23:08] I don't have any questions. | |
| [00:23:08] Yes, sir. | |
| [00:23:10] Yes, sir. | |
| [00:23:10] I have. | |
| [00:23:12] So first of all, it is like a performance-based, right? | |
| [00:23:21] Yeah, go ahead. | |
| [00:23:23] So it is performance-based PPO, right? | |
| [00:23:26] If I'm not wrong. | |
| [00:23:28] Absolutely. | |
| [00:23:30] So first of all, I want to ask, what are the... | |
| [00:23:37] What are the things like you are looking in a person who | |
| [00:23:42] who are going to convert that internship period into PPO. | |
| [00:23:49] So what are the things you should, that thing be in that candidate, like to convert it into a PPO. | |
| [00:24:02] Okay, I'll answer that. | |
| [00:24:03] So, Vine, we are, you know, there are certain things which we expect as a startup, you know, you don't get to, you know, handle things to, you know, interns or freshers, right? | |
| [00:24:17] So what we expect is, you know, the candidate starts learning, you know, as fast as they can. | |
| [00:24:28] Second, they bring their own fresh ideas. | |
| [00:24:31] You know, there are many problems or roadblocks which comes in, right, when we work. | |
| [00:24:40] So we expect that, you know, there are certain times where, you know, this candidate can find, figure out, not, you know, expect, you know, just things coming in for them. | |
| [00:24:54] We can also take some ownership. | |
| [00:24:56] Yeah. | |
| [00:24:58] Because as a startup, you know, there are a lot of things to work on and we have less, you know, headcounts, right? | |
| [00:25:07] Because of, you know, being a small scale as compared to any other large organization. | |
| [00:25:12] So each individual has a lot of responsibility. | |
| [00:25:16] So somebody who is in the management or leadership position wants to have that confidence in someone who can handle, you know, work on their own without worrying that, you know, this person might, | |
| [00:25:32] you know, | |
| [00:25:36] maybe create an issue or maybe we won't do it. | |
| [00:25:39] That is something which we as a leader, leadership, we don't want that. | |
| [00:25:43] We think we will always want to be at least assured that whatever work is going on, | |
| [00:25:51] that person is able to handle. | |
| [00:25:53] That is number one quality which we want to look at. | |
| [00:25:59] Second is the willingness to learn, take up things, right? | |
| [00:26:04] If somebody who is, you know, in a zone where | |
| [00:26:09] He or she is sitting and expecting work to come in and then only they'll work. | |
| [00:26:14] See, that attitude won't work. | |
| [00:26:17] We want people to be very outspoken. | |
| [00:26:21] If they don't have or they have issue with some structure or in terms of work, in terms of what we are doing, they can speak up and they can take up things, take those charge, that responsibility. | |
| [00:26:35] So that is something which we look at. | |
| [00:26:38] And, you know, third, obviously, the culture fitment. | |
| [00:26:43] We are a startup deep tech company where we are working on, you know, different, different technologies, different solutions, right? | |
| [00:26:55] So somebody who is willing to learn quickly, grasp things, take up things. | |
| [00:27:00] So these three, four things we are looking at in order to, you know, and obviously maintain their, you know, key arrangements, whatever work. | |
| [00:27:11] For sure oh okay got it and also like i would like to ask like what will be the projects i will be working in initial first two or three months | |
| [00:27:23] like i will directly go on a project or i will first go through mentorship from an engineer | |
| [00:27:32] Got it. | |
| [00:27:33] So the first few months mostly would be understanding, you know, what tech we are using, you know, in terms of we have | |
| [00:27:44] a web application, we have some mobile applications, right? | |
| [00:27:48] So understanding that. | |
| [00:27:53] Maybe some responsibility around mobile application. | |
| [00:27:57] That's why we were asking that. | |
| [00:27:59] Maybe you can just quickly learn things and start working on that. | |
| [00:28:04] Slowly, slowly, we'll also loop you in or that person will be looped into the cloud. | |
