This is Dracos's valid-wordle-words.txt, enriched with frequencies from the Datamuse API.
- Dracos's file contains a list of all words considered valid by NYT's Wordle.
- The Datamuse API uses Google Books Ngrams to determine frequency data for any given word.
- Dracos's valid-wordle-words.txt (Mar 15, 2023 version)
- The Datamuse API (Accessed Nov 19, 2024)
- A frequency of 0.0 means that either:
- The Datamuse API returned a value of 0 for the given word -or-
- The Datamuse API returned no data for the given word.
- The sorted file was sorted with frequency as the first level and the word as the second level, so words with the same frequency (especially those of 0) are sorted alphabetically.
- The Datamuse GET words API was used with the request parameters "sp=[WORD]&md=fr" (example), then the target word was found in the response.
- (The "max" parameter was omitted because the "sp" query returns additional spellings, and the intended word may not be early in the list.)
