You: i can't download pdf from the metro website
Metro: HI Kevin , oh my that is really kind of a hassle. Have you tried using a different browser to download it?
You: yes
You: chrome and firefox
You: i can see the api erroring out
You: "User is not allowed for this operation"
You: when inspecting the network requests
Metro: Have you already tried clearing the cache of the browser Kevin?
You: yes
Metro: I see, are you trying to download it on your computer? Basing on the message you got it is like a user restriction.
You: yes
You: its my account and i'm trying to download in my computer
Metro: Let me see if i am able to find how we are gonna remove that error.
Metro: It is important for me to ensure that I give a complete and accurate information about your issue and request. Please give me 2-3 minute of your precious time. Please do not close[x] our chat session.
Metro: Alright Kevin, upon checking here you will need to contact Microsoft service expert to help you provide access in downloading this file on your computer.
You: what am i supposed to do on my end?:
Metro: They will walk you through on how to get the permission on the computer to download files Kevin.
Metro: Let me get their number for you.

You: this has nothing to do with my computer
You: its on the server side
You: who am i talking to?
Metro: The Microsoft Kevin, i tried to search for the error message and it has something to do with he permissions on your computer. That is why even if you use a different browser it has the same error message.
You: i'm using a mac
Metro: Let me check is that is the case. Give me a minute please.
Metro: Alright found something Kevin, can you please check this settings on your computer.
Metro: Choose Go > Utilities.
Double-click Disk Utility.
Select the volume in the left pane for which you want to repair permissions.
Click the First Aid tab.
Select the volume to which you want to install the Adobe application, and then click Repair Disk Permissions.
You: look, i'm inspecting network requests - the permission error is happening before i get to download the file. i'm a web engineer, i design these sorts of systems. this is NOT a local issue but something wrong on the server
Metro: Alright Kevin, are you currently connected to a wifi Kevin?
You: no i'm on a wired connection
Metro: I see, if that is the case Kevin you will need to contact your internet provider since it has something to do with your network. We are unable to fix it since we are unable to troubleshoot your network unless you are connected to the hotspot form your phone via data.
You: this isn't a network issue. its a response i'm getting from the metro website
You: it looks like an auth error on your end
You: can i talk to your manager or whoever is in charge?
Metro: One moment please Kevin, checking for an available manager. bear with me please.
