  • For normal bash shell

    sudo nano ~/.bashrc

  • For zsh

    sudo nano ~/.zshrc

  • Add any aliases you want:

    e.g.

    alias plsv='pull localsv'

    alias golsv='push localsv'

    alias rsapache='sudo service apache2 restart'

  • Save file.

  • Close and reopen terminal
