- Open Android Studio
- Go to: Tools > Create Command-line Launcher
- Leave as default, Press OK
- Add the following lines to your
.gitconfig

Prerequisites (for Homebrew at a minimum, lots of other tools need these too):
xcode-select --install will prompt up a dialog)Install Homebrew:
