Day	Morn	After	Eve	Theme
Tue 20	drive to daxi, and do one of the buttload of hikes they have e.g. xiaowulai skywalk	around noon, drive to excellent japanese style onsen, soak in tubs. Lunch there or at daxi tea facctory or family style chinese/taiwanese at domy view. Scope out daxi tea factory and daxi old street	~3-4pm drive to yingge, ceramics and tea hangouts, dinner before 8pm at teaday for proper taiwan food and great tea	Daxi and tea day
Wed 21	Asscrack of dawn HSR to Taizhong. Rent car, drive 1.5hrs to ren'ai, lunch at the old england for the lulz or wherever	Drive ~1hr to somewhere along the highest point of taiwan, hike it.	Leaving time for sun, drive 3hrs through taroko gorge to hualien, stopping as desired. Dinner in hualien night market. Return car and train to taipei (or taitung?) next day, or, drive to yilan (way longer) to see the most cabbage farms you've ever seen in our life. Eat hella good chicken in yilan, then train to taipei.	Altitude, taroko gorge, hualien
Wed 21 (alt)	same	same	Stay in lishan guest house. Next day, up early to drive to mega secret wild hot springAfter, drive to taichung, then return to taipei.
Wed 21 (huandao alt)	same	same	Stay in Renai. Try to find wild jingying hot springs
Thu 22 (huandao version from renai) (return to taipei)	drive 1.5hrs to sun moon lake, try to find that stinky tofu place for lunch, or other etc food in the market	drive 1.5 hrs to monster village mingshan shopping district, check it out. Thu 22 alt (huandao + committed MORE huandao)	same	same	drive to and stay in dank hot spring hotel	sun moon lake, monster village, hot spring hotel
Fri 23 (from hot spring hotel)	drive 1.75hrs to alishan recreational area, stopping at cool yushan (jade mountain) views on the way	either hike around alishan recreational area while looking at monkeys and etc, or find more interesting hike and do that instead.	drive to chiayi, hsr back to taipei	alishan + yushan
Fri 23 (if in taipei)	train, bus, drive, or cab to teapot mountain trail	hike teapot mountain trail, then scope out jiufen old street for yuyuan (taro ball) and lunch. Have tea at my favorite teahouse	get back to taipei	jiufen + teapot mountain
Fri 23 (taipei and no teapot mountain)	Train, bus, or drive to shifen. if early enough, do shifen waterfall hike (short and easy)	lunch and launch lanterns from shifen old street. Cab, bus, or drive to [cat town]https://maps.app.goo.gl/vbR89adJji83Pks59(), then cab bus train or drive to jiufen. See above.	get back to taipei
Sat 24	breakfast at one bang one. Get ubikes and ubike along riverside to new taipei along the river if have energy, else direct to fuhe flea market (have to arrive before closes at noon)	return bikes in gongguan, potentially check out rongjing gorgeous time if we want, or treasure hill artist village . tea at qingtian tea house	dinner in dongmen, either the best beef noodles or the best dumplings . Dessert at smoothie house for good taiwan shaved ice. If interested, beers from local brewery or outside beers at other brewery which is outside and fun and best visited on thu, fri, or sat to experience taiwanese people vibing	biking, southweast taipei, dongmen
Sun 25	catch bus to yanmingshan	hike yanmingshan, bus to beitou	chill in beitou hot spring, or, do shrimp fishing
Mon 26	early lunch at goose place	do something touristy like taipei 101. early dinner at addiction aquatic, either some of the best sushi you've had in your life, or, choose your sea creatures to be grilled fresh	raohe night market and riverside vibes
Mon 26 (alt)	same	take gondola to maokong, have tea at teahouse with gorgeous view , potentially do some hiking through tea farms	late dinner at addiction aquatic, see above
Tue 27	bus to wulai	float in wulai river and the wild hot spring . This is my top 3 favorite places in taiwan	dinner outside at rady's saloon or just wherever
