How have you seen yourself become more aware of your habits? Have you tried implementing anything new? What have the results been?
I am definitely more aware of my habits. My morning routine of waking up when my alarm rings has been holding pretty steady! I am proud of myself for maintaining that. I began implementing a couple of other habits, but wasn't quite as successful in their implementaion, so I would like to focus on that during the inning break.
How can beginner’s mind be helpful when it comes to thinking about your career and job search? What are some habits you could put into place to cultivate beginner’s mind regularly?
I think a beginners mind provides an extremely necessary sense of wonder when it comes to approaching the job search and future learning. It is exciting to learn new things and understand things more clearly, and approaching my entire career and more immediately my job search with such enthusiasm will not only make me more motivated, but keep my interest in specific jobs very genuine. I certainly don't want to take a job just because its available to me, I want to be sure I am truly excited about what I do next.

Write out your top 5 strengths that you’ve seen in action this module; then write out the strengths of a software developer. Where do you see these lists overlapping? Where are they different?
My top 5 strengths: Dedication, persistance, collaboration, communication, humor Dev's top 5: Passion, dedication, communication/collaboration, willing to/comfortable failing, work ethic. I think I have a lot of the qualities of a software developer. I do think I need to work on my realtionship with failures and the negative feelings I associate with outcomes that are below what I expected. It doesn't serve me to be caught up in dissappointments or failures. It serves me to learn and grow from them, and move forward a better person and developer.
Write a refined vision statement here (what new things have you discovered this week to incorporate into your vision statement?):
I want to create something beyond myself. I want to affect the lives of others positively, and provide support and visibility to marginalized groups. I want to work with people, learn about them and provide solutions to their problems. I thrive in face paced, dynamic environments, and aim to utilize my creative problem solving and leadership experience to succeed in the workplace. I want a career that creates space for my failures and successes, and allows me room to feel, learn, and grow in all instances.
