Refine your career vision:

*What are the values that will drive your job search? What are your goals for your job search? What kind of role do you see yourself pursuing in your job search?

Team work, collaboration, communication, and growth/learning opportunities. I see my first role as being quite flexible - a space where I am able to get my hands into lots of different work and learn as much as possible.

*Based on your latest version of your career vision, list the top 3-5 industries and companies you’ll pursue in your job search as of right now. Why did you pick these industries/companies? How do they relate to the values and goals you have for yourself in your job search?

Industries aren't my focus. A few companies that have caught my eye thus far are Twilio and CampSpot. I would also like to find a few start ups in town that peak my interest.

Build your resume

*What will you emphasize in your resume that directly relates to your targeted industries?

My love of learning, organization, leadership skills, and enthusiasm. Anyone can learn to code, but I have a unique background and unique experiences that make me a worthwhile hire.

*Link to your resume or include a screenshot here: see below

*Based on the feedback you received from CV Compiler, what updates will you make to your resume?

I didn't recieve a ton of feedback from the compiler, however I know what updates I still need to make for my resume. I will update it with future/better projects and may reassess my about me section to be slightly more consice.

*Set up your Turing Alumni Portfolio: ✅

Reflection questions:

*What do you want this portfolio to say about you?

I would like the portfolio to highlight my work ethic, professionalism, kindness/empathy, and leadership qualities. Highlighting who I am as a person vs the kind of code I write. Again, the code is important but tech can be taught, my experiences and background cannot be duplicated.

*How will you continue to add to this to portray your story and showcase the kind of work that demonstrates your brand?

Every time I speak with someone or look into a new company I come up with new ideas of what I do and don't want from my future career. I will update the tone/direction of my resume/portfolio/etc as needed.
