IM script

Hi, I'm Adam, and I'm Seungin. We've created a soundscape of Boston's Latin Quarter that captures the unique vibe of the cultural district to allow you to explore the area.

We made this in conversation with Hyde Square Task Force, a youth outreach and community development organization that aims to build a diverse vibrant Latin Quarter.

After looking at their work and visiting the Latin Quarter a number of times, we were struck by the richness of the neighborhood, especially in terms of the sounds that define it. We wanted to create an experience that would bring that to the forefront, and in the process show just a little bit of what is so special about the area that Hyde Square has worked so hard to make a cultural district.

We recommend that you close your eyes and take a moment to listen to the little sounds. What do you notice? Where did you place yourself? What space are you creating in your mind?
