| 1. What words or phrases stick out to you? How would you define each of your top 5 talents in your own words? | |
| I am a leader, that people feel very comfortable with, I am a fair person and people in general know what to expect | |
| from me and know what I except from them. | |
| 2. Do these top 5 talent themes resonate with you? Why or why not? | |
| They do- ALL 5 of them. I love to learn and I know | |
| that I learn with other people. I learn best in group settings. I am consistent with my interaction with others, and with myself. | |
| I don't leave anyone out and include all on projects, conversations and treat everyone fairly. I like to have group settings with | |
| pretty much everything. I have the metaity that life should be lived with people and all walks of life. I bring a sense of | |
| positivity to any situation, I am always looking at the bright side. I measure success with how good I feel in life, and generally I | |
| feel great about everything so I have a level of acceptance which makes life easy for me to be happy in. | |
| 3. How have you seen yourself using each of these talents? How often do you see yourself using these talents? | |
| ALL the time! I see it as a mother, daughter and freind. I see it when i'm at the grocerey store, I see it when I'm driving. | |
| I have never had road rage or alike and I feel that my attitude on life brings me a level of happiness that creates a | |
| world or oppurtunity rather the opposite. | |
| 4. When has it been difficult for me to be aware of this talent? | |
| Well.. This past year has been HELL!!!!! My I have been told I | |
| managing my life with compose and grace. I have a restraining order on my ex husband whom we share two beautiful children with. | |
| I filed for divorce from him in January 2016 and I am now on a completely new path for myself. Through out this year it has | |
| been difficult to stay positive, to not be angry, and to carry on. | |
| 5. What talents could you develop further that would help you in your growth at Turing and in your new career as a software developer? | |
| I feel like my talent of being a perfectionist could hinder me. I have a need to fully understand what I am doing, before I implement. Thus far I have been recognizing that I do not need to fully understand a topic before utilizing the tools. I feel that my growth mindset is "growing" and I have already been able to use this to my advantage. Does it need work? Yes. | |
| 6. How would you like to build more awareness around these themes? | |
| I would like to build on my learner, I tend to compare myself to others and that often hinders my ability to learn! | |
| I have gained a wonderful cohort and through that I am able to ask for help, and not compare myself to others. I am learning far faster than I did in the beginning of the cohort. | |
| 7. In which situations would developing these themes be beneficial? | |
| Really in all situations. I have proven to make people feel valued- I have proven to make sure that everyone who want sto be included is, and now it is time to really look out for myself while haveing trust that everyone else is doing and feeling good too. | |

| I can dial my includer theme down, to let people learn to ask. | |

| Again, I feel that because I have a great relationship with my cohort I feel I can focus on myself more. | |
| 10. How can you do more of what you do best every day? | |
| POSITIVITY! It has been hard to have a smiley face all day everyday. I feel that I have failed a few times, and of course learned from those experiences. I hope to keep my smiley and positive attitude throughout Turing. | |
