To be honest, l don't even remember this gist :)
I would guess that I found it else where and saved it here for later use.

Hi Lars, I wrote a wrapper for proton17's jqSOAPClient.beta.js in 2009 that allowed me to do $.soap({...});
Since we are reviewing our complete codebase I looked into that file again this week. I noticed this Gist in the process and wondered how you want me to credit you for the original code in my wrapper script which can be found at:
http://plugins.jquery.com/soap/
