message today i took a day off. i hadn't intended to. i woke at noon, then took a walk. i visited the farmer's market, asian market, and another store. i went home and made a smoothie and ate seaweed salad.

message then a friend invited me to go on a bike ride. she came over and we rode to the park, met a friend and did a loop. that turned into then going out to drinks. covid is getting bad here. we sat outside, with a heatlamp. but it was still freezing. it's dead of winter.

message it was nice to hang with friends. when i biked home i took a hot shower, then lay down and accidentally fell asleep. when i woke i made dinner

message a little later i zoomed with a friend i hadn't talked to in a long time. we talked for 2 hours. i showed her these games and art projects i've made. she said my home/house/apartment ones were a bit sad but really liked my work, wanted to see many of my pieces. it was nice to show my projects

message then i checked my school email. it's the last weekend before grades are due. one of my students sent me a game they made. in the game you play a court jester in a fantasy setting. the scenes are images with 2d drawn characters and text overlaid on top. i played and sent some feedback.

message and then it was 2:30am. time for bed. i made this thing you're playing, then i'll go read and then sleep. good night.
