Full-Stack JavaScript Developer

Hi, I'm L.J.
I’m currently in the process of breaking out of Las Vegas and relocating to Los Angeles. 
My escape route? Mostly JavaScript, with a little bit of MongoDB and SQL, 'cause I love me a full stack.

What was I doing in Las Vegas? The same thing that everyone does in Las Vegas: 
I was looking for a fresh start and hoping to hit a jackpot. My jackpot happened to come in the form of learning Web Development. 
One nonchalant suggestion from a coworker opened the door to lifelong learning and endless possibilities. 
I love JavaScript. I love learning everything you can do with it. I feel like a magician, which is great, because I love Harry Potter. 

Prior to Web Development, my professional experience included Retail, Casino Security, and I.T. Help Desk. 
In my free time, I love to visit theme parks and find GIFs to appropriately explain how I’m feeling.

HospitAlert
A full-stack app which allows users to keep family updated while a loved one is hospitalized.

Kitty Opinions

An entertaining app in which the user can search for any Foursquare location. 
When they click on a location, they get more info as well as a "tips/reviews" section which contains a cat GIF and a Ron Swanson quote from 
NBC's Parks and Recreation.

Disneyland Quiz
A 10-question multiple-choice quiz about Disneyland. A state object is used to track the user's progress and score.

Hot or Cold
A classic guessing game in which the user picks a number between 1 and 100. 
The computer gives the users clues by telling them whether they're "hot" or "cold" until they have guessed correctly.
