Why do compilers even bother with exploiting undefinedness signed overflow? And what are those
mysterious cases where it helps?
A lot of people (myself included) are against transforms that aggressively exploit undefined behavior, but
I think it's useful to know what compiler writers are accomplishing by this.
TL;DR: C doesn't work very well if int!=register width, but (for backwards compat) int is 32-bit on all
major 64-bit targets, and this causes quite hairy problems for code generation and optimization in some
fairly common cases. The signed overflow UB exploitation is an attempt to work around this. |

Locate the section for your github remote in the .git/config
file. It looks like this:
[remote "origin"]
fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
url = [email protected]:joyent/node.git
Now add the line fetch = +refs/pull/*/head:refs/remotes/origin/pr/*
to this section. Obviously, change the github url to match your project's URL. It ends up looking like this:
This gist assumes:
- you have a local git repo
- with an online remote repository (github / bitbucket etc)
- and a cloud server (Rackspace cloud / Amazon EC2 etc)
- your (PHP) scripts are served from /var/www/html/
- your webpages are executed by apache
- apache's home directory is /var/www/

// This bit is important. It detects/adds XMLHttpRequest.sendAsBinary. Without this
// you cannot send image data as part of a multipart/form-data encoded request from
// Javascript. This implementation depends on Uint8Array, so if the browser doesn't
// support either XMLHttpRequest.sendAsBinary or Uint8Array, then you will need to
