  • I supported developers working in PHP, C#/.NET, Java, and Ruby and maintained the API documentation and sample code for all of those languages.
  • I made architectural recommendations during the pre-sale process, and helped developers build their integrations after the sale.

Tech Support Rep at VerticalResponse

SF, CA

  • I learned the product (a web-based email marketing tool) inside and out, and tailored my assistance to the technical comfort level of the customer.

Director, Conservatory Challenge Initiative at Oberlin Conservatory of Music

March – July 2011

Oberlin, OH

  • I revived a beleaguered Oberlin fundraising campaign for its final four months, with the goal of raising the number of Conservatory alumni who donated to Oberlin.
  • We increased that number from 27% in 2010 to 43% in 2011 — a 59% gain. Prior to my arrival, projections were made for a 33% participation rate.
  • My projects included email and print pieces from Conservatory leadership, a new website and visual identity, and asking alumni to ask their friends to give.

Administrative Assistant at Loomis Group & Aquilo Partners

Loomis Group: June 2010 – March 2011

Aquilo: Aug. 2009 – June 2010

SF, CA

  • For both companies, I assisted executives with event planning, administrative tasks, and various special projects.
  • At the Loomis Group, my projects included driving the transition to a new project management and accounting software platform, and at Aquilo Partners, I managed the website and the creation of print marketing materials for conferences.

Communications Fellow at Oberlin College

Oct. 2008 – July 2009

Oberlin, OH

  • I was recruited by the Vice President for Communications to work on special internal and external communications projects.
  • I conceived of and created How Oberlin Works, a site about Oberlin’s macro- and micro- governance structures.
