The file page.st goes in the templates/ directory in the Gitit wiki home directory. You'll put the Ace JavaScript and CSS files in static/.

Thank you for your page.st file. It works.
I had a bit trouble until I figured out the following:
static/js/. Otherwise they are not executed.static/js/. In my casestatic/js/src-min/. Then change line 61 to read<script src="$base$/js/src-min/ace.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
