The Email Assist add-on helps with common spelling errors on email addresses for gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, aol.com, msn.com, icloud.com, and others.

#Installation

This add-on is a plugin for WordPress and can be installed through your WP dashboard (WP-admin).

Download the latest version of the Email Assist add-on from update-source.

Then login to your WordPress dashboard (WP-admin) and go to Plugins. Next, click on Add New –> Upload and browse to the plugin on your computer. Then select the zip file and begin the upload process. Wait for the plugin to upload and then click on Activate.

#Setup and Configuration

You will not see any new WordPress administration menus for the add-on.

#Usage

The Email Assist add-on runs on its own during registration checkout after it is activated.

It will fix common spelling errors for the following domains:

aim.com, aol.com, att.net, bellsouth.net, btinternet.com, charter.net, comcast.net, cox.net, earthlink.net, gmail.com, gmx.com, google.com, googlemail.com, hotmail.com, icloud.com, live.com, mac.com, mail.com, me.com, msn.com, optonline.net, optusnet.com.au, outlook.com, qq.com, rocketmail.com, rogers.com, sbcglobal.net, shaw.ca, sky.com, sympatico.ca, telus.net, verizon.net, web.de, xtra.co.nz, yahoo.com, ymail.com

#Troubleshooting

The plugin will not activate. Can you help?

Are you running a current version of Event Espresso 4? This add-on needs at least version 4.8.x to activate.

Where is the menu screen for this add-on?

This plugin does not create any new menus in the WordPress admin screen. It runs on its own once it has been activated through your WordPress Plugins screen. Please see the documentation in the usage section on this page.

Does this work on mobile devices?
