I. Who we are
A. Used to Success
1. A students
2. Little to no criticism in life
3. Smooth Sailing
B. What happens when we do not meet our goals
1. Disappointment
2. Hurt
3. Low self esteem
4. Some people let disappointment. Wrong approach!
C. What to do to guard yourself against feeling like you're a "failure"
1. Les Brown, motavational speaker "It's not over until I win."
2. Redefine what winning is for you and no one else.
3. Stop listening to negativity
4. Learn how to talk to yourself positively
5. Accept not everything is going to be easy in life. Embrace the challenge.
6. Make sure you have someone in your corner that you can call when things get tough.
7. Build yourself up with lots of self talk. I inherited strength from my parents. If you are a parent, make sure you instill greatness in your kids. Believe in them and tell them they can accomplish anything.
8. If some tells you can't do something, do not look at it as a challenge to prove them wrong; prove them wrong for yourself. You are the only person you need to make happy.
