    • formal
      • divided into groups
      • added to batch abl group counts
    • informal
      • added to batch informal count
    • below the line
  • batch sent to css

batches are then sent to css for entry into easycount and btl entry

  • each batch
    • atl and informal tallies
      • entered into easycount
    • btl
      • votes entered into easycount (formality not decided at this stage).
      • batch report run where formality is determined *votes are set as informal
      • batch taken to desk where scrutineers can watch aec make determinations on formality
      • aec update any votes that are reclassed as formal
  • virtual tally room (public website) updated with batch details.
