How to change trick an iOS device into thinking it has a different enclosure color

How to change trick an iOS device into thinking it has a different enclosure color

Notice: I am not responsible if you mess something up. Do this at your own risk.

This is NOT a tutorial. This just shows what needs to be edited in MobileGestalt for this to work.

The Keys

  • DeviceEnclosureColor - JhEU414EIaDvAz8ki5DSqw
  • DeviceColor - mumHZHMLEfAuTkkd28fHlQ

Important Notice: These keys are already in MobileGestalt, so you do not need to add them.

The Values

The general rule of thumb is: 1 - Black 2 - White However, this will differ between each device. Check how many colors your device comes in, and take note of the number of colors available.

Other Information

  • Both values need to be the EXACT SAME on both keys.
  • This can be done with SparseRestore or any other tool/exploit that can edit MobileGestalt.
  • Please take note of the original numbers for both keys, and store them somewhere safe in case you want to revert the change.
  • I highly recommend you use iMazing to see if the changes are being made. To see, go to iMazing > YOUR DEVICE > Search Bar > Type "Color".
