Great script - thanks. But it seems the commit containing the new VERSION and Changelog.md is not pushed by the script, and needs to be pushed manually afterwards. Is this intentional? Forgetting to push it will result in a conflict when another contributor pushes a tag with the same name.

@larskoeie My script takes care of that, check it out.
