Some of my favourite spots in Torino
- Baratti & Milano is a fancy historic cafe where having a coffee or a afternoon dessert, you can try there the Bicerin, a famous Turin drink made of coffee and chocolate.

- Eataly - it's like the one in London but the original and better. If you are around for lunch, you may get a table at the meat spot to try carne cruda (raw meat), it's a Piedmont style tartare, and their steak "al sangue" (rare). You can also buy some food souvenirs

- Ristorante Solferino could be a bit expensive but may be some of the best places I tried for some of the most famous piedmont dishes, such as Carne Cruda, Vitello Tonnato (veal with tuna), plin ravioli, and fassona steak. And obviously wine, for which Piedmont region is famous all over the world (Barbera, Barolo, Nebbiolo are all from here)
