This resource is meant to serve to different types of people:
- Someone with a lot of ideas and not enough time.
- Someone motivated to create but unsure of what they want to build or the right direction to get started.
Many of us have lots of ideas for software we would really like to exist. But don't always have the time to build them ourselves. We all also have times where we want to create something but just don't have the inspiration.
This is especially true when trying out new technologies, for instance. "I want to play with scala, but really don't want to spend my time building another CRUD app or going through tutorials, I'd like to build something that is useful and that really fits the strong points of the technology."
Simply add the general idea, a short description, the technology or stack that you would recommend building building with (if you have opinions on this sort of thing), Your name (only if you feel you have some time to explain the idea and possibly mentor whoever may take on the project), and a couple examples.
If you feel that you cannot fully describe the project in the minimal space, simply link to a gist specifying the requirements and prior research.
Once a project is complete(usable and public) it should be removed from the Ideas list and moved over into the Completed Projects table with appropriate information.
