Swelen is a thriving start-up based in Paris (France). We are specialized in the development of mobile advertising technologies. We developed an AdExchange based on adserving technology. Derived from collective intelligence algorithms, it optimises the performance of advertising campaigns. Swelen’s advertising technology is used by most of the major mobile providers and French publishers.
You will join the Infrastructure Team.
- Install servers, switches, routers, and storage hardware
- Diagnose hardware issues and repair or upgrade as required
- Understand and debug network, hardware, and Linux OS related issues
- Use and maintain server automation and installation tools
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Solid Linux experience (mainly Debian)
- Python and bash scripting
- High availability systems experience
- Horizontal scaling experience
- Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL)
- Knowledgeable in Data center practices (i.e. basic fault tolerance, cable routing, calculating power usage)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (mainly in French)
Extra Skills:
- Certification such as CCNA, RHCT
- Ops or DevOps experience
