# A sample Makefile for building Google Test and using it in user
# tests. Please tweak it to suit your environment and project. You
# may want to move it to your project's root directory.
# | |
# SYNOPSIS: | |
# | |
# make [all] - makes everything.
# make TARGET - makes the given target.
# make clean - removes all files generated by make.
# Please tweak the following variable definitions as needed by your
# project, except GTEST_HEADERS, which you can use in your own targets
# but shouldn't modify.
# Points to the root of Google Test, relative to where this file is.
# Remember to tweak this if you move this file.
GTEST_DIR=../googletest-master/googletest
# Where to find user code.
USER_DIR=. | |

Ah it took a while for me to understand. But I got it working on my project in the end & that's what counts >.<
Happy to hear! I think these days people prefer to use more advanced tools such as Hunter or Conan or at least CMake, just because they have helpers for pulling in 3rd party dependencies. Pulling in some header-only library that's available on GitHub should be a lot easier these days

You’re welcome! I believe I must’ve copied it from their documentation or some tutorial, but I can’t recall what I was doing with it… It’s been a while :)
