Describes an issue when Cmder is launched that prevents the emulator to run successfully unles run as administrator.

Description

Getting this error when running ConEmu or Cmder:

Failed to backup ConEmu.xml file to ./config folder

Symptoms

• ConEmu or Cmder is placed in a system folder e.g. C:\Program Files
• The error prompt does not show up if Cmder is run as admin

Fix

Move Cmder to another location. E.g. C:\ProgramData\Cmder
