Firemonkeys server engineer positions

Firemonkeys, Melbourne-based game development studio, is looking to contract server engineers on a short term basis. There are three positions we are looking to fill:
DBA:
- Knows how to use “EXPLAIN”
- Preferably has used maatkit or percona-toolkit
- Can optimise MySQL queries and apply indexes, and understands the impact of adding too many indexes
Server Engineer:
- Has solid background in PHP development, preferably on Linux (CentOS/RedHat)
- Preferably also has background in C++, but not essential
- Has experience using XDebug, XHProf or similar PHP optimisation tools
Sys Admin:
- Experience setting up syslog-ng, logstash, graylog2, ELSA or some other logging mechanism.
- Experience with Zabbix
- Experience with with Puppet
The positions are all short term, for four to five weeks, starting immediately. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested.
